Script Submissions:
Listed below are the requirements for submitting a script to our LUNADAS New Works & Reading Series Program. More info can be found under the Incubation Series Tab here.
All established and experienced playwrights writing from the Hispano and/or Latina/Latino experience in the United States and Canada are encouraged to submit their new work for consideration to our Reading Series. We will invite any full-length works by Latina/Hispana writers and works about the Latina experience written by Latinos/Hispanos.
Teatro Luna’s Reading Series, Lunadas, was established in 2008 in commitment to support and eventually produce the work of writers outside of the ensemble. We have featured the work of Diane Rodriguez, Elaine Romero, Caridad Svich and many others.
Auditions:
Non-Equity General Auditions are held twice a year for Teatro Luna. Our second General Auditions for 2011 will be held in November or December 2012. There will also be auditions for our spring play, written by Obie Award Winning Diane Rodriguez in November 2011 and February 2012.
